I don't. The Kindle is optimised for displaying ephemeral content rented from
the Kindle Store at prices higher than hardbacks. It's utterly hopeless at
reading PDFs, which is the usual format for freely-distributed technical
documents.
(FWIW, I use an iPad 3 for reading PDFs. The retina screen is really handy for
picking out the fine details in circuit diagrams, etc.)
