that goes to a 9 pin female connector on the back
plate. the biggest chip
on the board is a
SYU6551a - serial board of some kind?
Possibly
"Speech Synth. Board"? Is there an audio amp chip on it such as a
LM386?
Most likely Tony is right, it is a Serial S?? Board.
