Another suggestion would be Brooklyn Bridge. You can transfer files using
a cable connecting the two parallel ports together. Also will work with the
serial ports from the old PC to the new ones so I've had LOTS of
experience with
them. As fas as I'm concerned these programs are indepensible
for use when
tinkering with old computers that run MS-DOS. With these programs I don't
have to open one up, add or change drives or modify or add other hardware
in order to transfer files to and from it.
