Yes, $50 is quite a bit to pay for shipping, but in some cases, that's what
it costs! That unit looks big enough to cost that much, particularly if
it's being carefully and toroughtly packaged. It must be a pretty rare
unit, though.
I had to ship my Okidata Laser printer for repair a few years back, and it
went 3 times, at $53 each time. Now, it's a nice printer, but ... that was
supposed to be warranty service, after all ...
