Glad to hear that it got you thinking...  DEC equipment
possibly
crashing through bookcases wouldn't be a pleasant sight. 
Not equipment, OS manuals.  Both bookcases are stuffed with VMS, RSX,
RT-11, RSTS/E, DOS/Batch, and Ultrix manuals, as well as a few HW
manuals :^)  The scary thing is that's just a portion of my DEC
library.
The hardware rates real wood shelving (or DEC racks).
