Ok, 1GB RAM for those servers that host multi-luser make-believe games.
You underestimate how quickly badly-written applications grab RAM as
they fail to scale up gracefully.
Last night I twittered a comment that some of you may have seen, along
the lines that I see no legitimate reason why a Java proggy needs to
grab roughly 1.5GB of RAM to transfer a .wav file over MIDI to a sampler
with 64kB of addressable RAM.
