Guess you weren't running UCX then.
Back then, it was hard to find a packet that _didn't_ cause a fatal
bug check on a machine running UCX. Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating just
a little bit, but it sure was annoying and all we got from DEC was
"so don't do that".
