Well, with some extensive rewiring you might be able to use some switches.
This front-panel actually uses one slot of a DD11-CK backplane, which can
be seen in one of the pictures (although it is not directly obvious).
Most other operator consoles of the PDP-11 line are sub-assemblies
mounted on the BA11 box, like the 11/40(35), 11/45(50,55) and 11/70.
The 11/20 is (afaik) similar in that respect to the 11/15.
