I remember back in the BBS days, the big quest was to get Usenet access
(which was, typically, only available to universities, government, large
businesses, etc.) Of course there were a few public dial-in usenet
bbs's around...all a long distance call from me :-(
Now that everyone can get a free AOL disk and have Usenet access...
