Tubes are tubes. Find a replacement of the same number and plug it in. Contrary to what
the back of the radio says, you don't have to use only genuine Philco tubes. Also,
you'd have to be one heck of an unlucky guy to burn out all five tubes in one go.

That's a pile of random loktals.? What I'm talking
about is a set of the five tubes called for in an
All-American-Five design.? I might have to rewire this
thing for regular octals.
