Well to be fair, IDE didn't exactly replace SCSI. ;) And,
interestingly, it's starting to look like SCSI drives will still be
produced after IDE drives are no longer being made.

Ok, here's where I have to ask. Why does everyone get all excited
about BeOS? I ran it for a while and I thought it was a pile of
crap. What was so great about it, from your point of view?
