The best way is to just open up a phone book and look for all the thrift
stores in your area. It helps to have a base you can work out of (like an
office) where you have an internet connection so you can quickly and
easily pull up maps and directions. Plot a route to all the nearest
stores and go hunting. You can also try looking up surplus electronics
shops and maybe even scrap yards.
