I pointed it out because:
1) It might be possible to find that databook (or another National
Logic databook from that era) in a similar electronic surplus
store elsewhere.
2) Someone on the list could go to Halted, get a copy, and scan it
for him. I didn't volunteer to do that myself because I'm too
busy right now, but if he doesn't get the real datasheet from
somewhere else soon, I might be able to do it.
I don't recall offhand what the MC4040 was.
IIRC, it's a (dual?) four-line demultiplexer.
