I use Windows for my video work not because it is faster, but because it is
almost as fast, much cheaper, and has more decent (and free) tools. Video
editing under Linux is best described as clunky and uncomfortable.
I would use a Mac for video but I'm not made of money, sorry.
It's okay to have a favorite platform; I just hope your blinders are attached
with velcro and not nails ;-)
