Oi,
Some of us in the UK regularly service and fix Alpha and VAX stuff that's
still in commercial use, apparently I'm the only one in the south who can
troubleshoot either an Alpha 4100 or ES40 by phone. This might not be true,
but given the amount of calls I've had this week you'd think it was :)
Welcome!
Adrian,
I see you TT030 is on your list of things in the loft. Were you
looking to aquire one?

Hi Dave,
I was when I wrote that page a decade ago, but these days I don't think I
can afford one - disposable income isn't what it once was :/
Maybe once I get a few legal issues sorted I might be able to breathe a bit
more...
Cheers,
Sorry to hear you are having problems. I expect that is the way things
may go for me. Getting the boot at the end of the year. I am 60 but
could have done with another 5 years in the pension scheme...
Sadly my TT030 sits in the loft room mostly unused, and not really loved....
By the way I have useds an Acorn 6809 system like the one in your
advert. A friend built one and when he moved on he loaned it to me. He
also had an IBM Selectric printer attached. Very nice system..
