controllers, and it
would be fun to try getting one of the FPGA drive simulators running
(another project to add to the pile).
That would be one I would enjoy testing. I spun a lot of RL drives
over the years, and while I always found them reliable, it takes
up a lot of space to put together a moderate amount of storage
(like the time I installed 2.9BSD on my 11/24. about 5 years
before Linux appeared - I had to add a second RL02 to have
enough room to rebuild the kernel).
