Subject: ISO Hitachi JK-260 paper tape reader schematic
Not much chance, but I thought I'd ask. It is a capstan driven desktop 8 channel
optical paper tape reader, circa 1980. AC motor, built like a tank, and the capstan
still
feels OK.
It shouldn't be too difficult to trace out if not, there are only 11 signals
coming out to a 25 pin connector. Obviously parallel given the logic on the circuit
board.
I'll take some pictures of it and scan the circuit board today.
I have one of the rebagged Intel readers. I forget the maker
but I know it isn't Hitachi. By the time I can get you a pinout,
you could have traced yours out and been dumping tapes.
I have made an adapter to use a bidi printer port.
Not much help though as I'll not be near the stuff until this
weekend at the soonest.
