SAMdisk yourdisk.imd yourdisk.raw should give the dd-style image, though
check the reported disk geometry is correct after extraction. You can
force the cyl and head count with -c and -h if the required range differs
from the source image.

Is there an easy way to extract the "pure" disk image out of an IMD?
I.e. a disk image as it would have been made with dd(1). Thats because
NetBSD can mount Unix V7 file system images made with dd(1).
BTW: I have a cardboard box with documentation for my 8560.
I'll dig it out and run it through the ScanJet...
