QuantumLink,
to the best of my knowledge, was always Stratus. During the
waning days AOL kept the old Stratus on for QLink subscribers until they
came up with the Y2K excuse and powered it down.
The Stratus (there may have been more than one) was troublesome, so I
bet many were happy to see it leave.
