classic computer rescue happy story

Actually, it's not a rescue of sorts, but a revival-- Got an email from a guy that runs a machine shop. Seems they use a PS/2 model 60 to run a lathe. They were having problems getting it working and were out of production. Turns out they are located about an hour away from me. We corresponded and a deal was struck and the following day a guy drove down to meet me and got two replacement model 60s from me for a cool $150. They wanted to keep using the same system since it was a package of some sort they bought quite some time ago and upgrading it would cost $10k. Kinda neat to see old machines still working. With it being a PS/2, I'm not surprised especially being in a machine shop. For those others that run computer museums, it might be wise to state your location. It was lucky he was located in the same state as me.
