Floppies aren't so fragile... someone (on this list?) did some tests with
floppies (5" ones?) a year or so back - in the freezer, buried in the ground
for a while, etc. - and nearly all of them worked again afterwards (the
actual media had to be placed in a brand new floppy case though).
