Unsurprisingly, given that the shell chosen isn't really DB nor any of
the remaining D-sub standard DA, DC, DD, DE shell sizes (which may then
come in various signal, power or RF pin configurations, e.g. the Sun
DB-13W3, or DEC DA-3W3, or VGA DE-15 connectors). They could have opted
for standard DA-26 if they were after connector space saving rather than
locking customers into an inherently more expensive proprietary solution.
