I suspect it's more likely to be that houses are cheaer outside London.
and classic computer enthusiasts (no, make that programmers, engineers,
scientists) are not well-paid over here.
Or if they are, wouldn't pay London prices for a shoebox when they can
get something the size of an aircraft hangar for the same money.
