SCSI TK50 and writing tape

A lot of drivers will try so many times, then rewind tape devices. The rewind may not be coded in Linux if you are using the norewind on close device. Also if your linux box has more than the tape on the scsi controller, you may be overwhelmed by log entries and have problems finding the tape traffic. Jim
