It is not entirely clear to which post you're responding (because
you quoted the ENTIRE DIGEST), but the LK201 definitely uses
4p4c plugs (I just checked mine). Many of the VTxx devices for
which the LK201 could serve as keyboard used MMJ for the
serial connection, but that's different.
