Yep. I was a co-owner of a firm that build accelerators for the Ami;
in the lab we used '881s and '882s interchangeably -- just whatever
was handy. As far as the bus interface was concerned the '882 was
identical to the '881 -- it just took fewer clocks than the '881
for some operations.
