In either case, ProDOS will accept either upper
or lower case (ProDOS can
be run on a ][ (with the autostart ROMs) and ][+ with the "language card"
to provide the additional 16K required by ProDOS).
Sam, are you saying ProDOS required the autostart ROM? I have
a II+ without the autostart ROM (swapped it for a original II ROM)
and I believe ProDOS worked fine. I'd have to set it up and check
though.
