On the 386 front, I have an IBM PS/2 Model 80 ($10k in 1987) which still
works perfectly (after replacing the NVRAM battery...). (It's really
quite an ugly looking thing, but I have this odd affection for MCA
machines). Anecdotal evidence at best, but then we seem to thrive on that
here...

I love the ps/2 look. I think it is highly under rated. I would put it
up against
any mac design. That as someone that never would have used one.
