Yes, ?canned air? should be ok. And air from
compressors can be
filtered. Also, there are ?oil-less? compressors. Air brush setups are
an example where oil must be avoided, and this is where oil-less
compressors may be found, or oil-removal filters. The sort of cleaning
we?re talking about here is probably more demanding than airbrushing is,
though.
Sure... Obviously there is a way to compress air without contaminating it
with oil, those cans have ot be illed in the first place :-).
The warning, I think, was more that there are plenty of compressors which
do have oil in the output stream (in for air-operated tools, this can even
be an advantage). Such compressed air is not at all a Good Thing to use
on RK05 packs, so if in doubt, don't use it. If you ahve a truely oil-less
compressor, that will be fine,.
