Is it safe to use a Bulk Tape Eraser on 8"
floppies? I don't see why not,
but I figured I'd ask the pros before I did it.
Yes, it's perfectly safe (for the disks and the eraser, it's not safe for
the data, but that's what you want :-)).
There are no impossible-to-rewrite tracks on a normal 8" disk (unlike,
say, the servo information on some hard disk packs) so bulk-erased disks
can be reformatted and used.
