The HP 98228A Rom is a rare one, you need to be lucky to find one.
And it will only work in the HP 9825T.
Just curious, has someone dumped the contents of the various ROM
cartridges? How difficult would it be to build a equivalent cartridge?
From a quick look at Tony's schematics for the 9825
ROM cartridges
they are basically just address latches, address decoders, and ROMs
for what he calls Type 1 cartridges. I've never designed any PCBs to
be fabricated but it looks like that wouldn't be too difficult to
duplicate if the cartridges just plug into normal card edge
connectors.
