And NO stack. Might as well mention the intresting missing items too. 
 
My first "Hands on" was an IBM 1620.  No accumulator or stack.  Decimal
arithmetic--and you had to load the addition and mulitplication tables
yourself.  Variable word and record length, so you could easily clear
memory several ways using a single instruction...sometimes when you
actually intended to do it.
