Sure. So just buy a five-port hub with four 10-base-T ports and one
10-base-2 port. I've seen them for around $45.
The adapter you describe is completely equivalent to a two port hub or
two port repeater, so buying the hub gets you more for less.
Rub it in why don't you :^/ I wish I could remember WHY I didn't do that a
year ago, I hope there was a good reason. I remember cursing the fact I
couldn't get a 10/100 hub with that.
