IIRC the selector switch had become almost unusably jammed - requiring an
unfeasible amount of force to turn it. I've got it *somewhere*, goodness
knows where.
Unless your meter takes some obscure battery, I am suprised
you don't have them in stock. ...

*smacks head* I will have some for my Sinclair Cambridge Programmables... if
I can remember where I put them. In my defence, I *do* have a 4000sqft
warehouse to search, and it's not in any particular order...
