Given that a generic wide-to-narrow SCSI cable has NC's on the upper
8 bits of the wide-SCSI HD 68 connector, how does te DEC version of
the cable differ? Is the signal pinout substantially different from
the lower 8 bits of a generic wide-SCSI?
Just curious,

I'm pretty sure DECs VS3100 cable predates (1989) the wide SCSI standard so it
really has nothing to do with the wide standard (It also uses a different 68
pin connector or at least reversed sex)
