There is a Siemens chip, a 7990 compatible on the
board, it is a later
revision of the AMD Lance.
I've already replaces the 7992, Set up Mop on my FreeBSD host and the
Good guess then :-) Well done on fixing it. Where on earth did you find a
7992 so quickly?
DECserver is booting, displaying the cycling 8.
Now I have to fiddele with some modular Plugs, don't have any MMJ cables..
Most of the modular plug crim tools wil lcrimp MMJs too (the cheap-ish
one I have certainly will), so you could make your own cables. When I
needed to connect to a DEC MMJ serial port and didn't have the plug or
tool, I soldered the wires to the pins of the socket on the solder side
ofthe PCB. But that was just one port...
