Looking for 8080/Z80 BASIC

Is there, I wonder, a line as to where simple tools and simple tuition
for nonspecialists might be appropriate - e.g. BASIC for schoolkids -
versus serious techniques and methods for those expected to be
professional developers - e.g. Scheme for CS undergrads?
Hi
I don't really like using BASIC to teach with. Not being a procedural
language it tends to not teach the student how to think in
levels of the problem.
Strict procedural languages tend to help the student factor the problems
into chunks that help to find the solutions.
Yes, I know one can write BASIC that way but it isn't enforced
by the language.
