On another list, a public library is considering
disposing of the
following: "AT&T Sequent, WYSE terminals, router, bridges, hubs, printers,
UPS etc" and is interested in trying to determine the "value" of this
equipment. They're asking for a "bluebook" showing the values of old
computers and such (I don't think such a beast exists, but. .. )
A bit ridiculous isn't it, a LIBRARY requiring some book it apparently
can't find or identify. Between 3 and 7 cents per pound isn't a bad guess
though. Anything better would depend on location and specifics.
