I'm jealous, too, but...

2 untested as yet, w 2xRZ26E each and looks like 64M RAM
also MAGMA 2+1 TC (serial/parallel adapter?)
1 w/2xRZ26E and 80M RAM. no MAGMA
booting OSF/1 v3.2, Oracle
1 Mouse/KBD breakout w/mouse.

Do the RZ26-E drives always sound like a
gravel-crusher, or are all
these toast?
If you hear strange noises during seek operations, this is a "special
feature" of the disks when mounted in a 3000/300X (IIRC): the box seems
to act as a resonator for some (not much!) noise coming from the drive,
so it will sound like it's scratching the bits into the disk's surface.
So, as long as it happens only when seeking, don't bother about it, or
redesign the box to avoid the amplification effects ;-)
