Chris,
I used OmniTerm in the day and found that pretty good. I've got it on a
disk image here:
http://www.classic-computers.org.nz/system-80/disks-comms.htm
The manual is linked under the name.

TRS-80, but I just pulled it out again and kermit kinda sucks. It types in
all uppercase unless I hold down the shift key, and it?s got no cursor.
