In 2008 there are referrals to lxicorp and another company. 2009 thru
recent indicate td systems is not an operating concern.
It looks to be a company interested in selling the omniserve3 and
omniserve4 products of theirs, and not to support a flexible scsi solution.
Also the tape references I saw hinted that they had tape libraries,
which are frequently much different beasts than normal tap drives, so
the controller may have a lot of bad habits that would make it hard to
use on a normal drive.
They were competing in a number of niche markets, not head on with
commoditized products, which would be to sell controllers and disk drives.
They also had a lot of early fiber channel stuff and SAN stuff, and
later references to IBM AS/400, again niche for a third party. Some of
the AS/400 stuff was SCSI, so some company with time and people with
technical skills probably can do some nice products.
