15 volts for a few days before starting the slow ramp up to 115? Or
do I need to go in and detach the CRT circuitry before I try anything
like that.?
While it may do some good to reform oil capacitors, has anyone had
any solid information indicating that a slow ramp-up on more-or-less
modern electrolytics does much good? Do marginal caps treated this
way continue to give reliable service, or is one just putting off the
inevitable?
I'm more of the "duck and plug" mindset myself.
