Staples do
sell a lot of stuff. It's going to be difficult for all their
sales people to know the tech specs of all their products. And there's not

directional mike. Probably one person (max.) in their whole career there :-)
I don't EXPECT them to know the tech specs. But I DO expect them to know
that "That means that it only picks up what you aim it at" is NOT an
answer, right or wrong, to the question "what is the angle of
Enough Staples bashing, in the present world they aren't that bad, and
given the nice coupons for $20 off $75 etc. I buy a fair amount of normally
non-discounted items and get free shipping too.
Nothing is more pathetic, or inherently nerdlike, than playing I am smarter

its REALLY (ie despite the box marking, specs etc.) if a mic is
supercardiod or hypercardiod?
OTOH isn't it Home Depot that is running the TV ad "don't you wish
everyplace was like Home Depot", where somebody asks a stupid question
about some song in an elevator, and in the "Home Depot" world some famous
music person in the back of the elevator turns around and tells them all
about who did the song etc.
Spoof could be a Radio Shack version where the people ask some question and
the camera turns to a cat setting on the counter that goes "MEOW" and gives
the cat look of what is wrong with you?
