Definitely a curved glass "bowl." I've never worked with glass myself
but it will definitely be more akin to casting a new car windshield
than just cutting plate.
A fair number of clock parts (for much older clocks)
are either being
remanufacutred or made-to-order. You may well find a company that maks
glasses for clocks whoc could make soemthing for this unit. Be warned it
will not be cheap!
Yeah, so I figured. My best bet is to find a trashed IBM clock as a
glass donor.
