I have a cable which I *believe* is for a HP 95. It has a DE-9 female
connector on one end and some proprietary looking connector on the other
side, which seems to have 4 pins and is also female. If anyone wants a photo
I can arrange to take one and send it to you.
That does sound like the HP95LX serial cable. The sockets in the 4-pin end
are at 2mm (not 0.1") spacing. The DE9 was designed to plug straight
into a PC/AT serial port, originally it came with a DB25 adapter (again a
socket) to plug into a PC/XT sype serial port.
FWIW, it will also work with the HP48 series of calculators,. (It does
nlt fit later calculators or palmtops).
No, I don't need it. I have several, one of which I was uing earlier today.
