floppies

After several years of essentially zero sales in the early 1990s, he got tired of them taking up floor space and chucked the lot. He saw the future value of them, but couldn't afford to wait around 10+ years for demand to rise. With the fluctuations of of the fortunes of the PC biz, his company didn't survive to the 21st century, so they'd be gone now one way or another, but I do look back at that mountain of media and wish I'd had a climate-controlled place to store them. -ethan
