I don't have a good alternative, but I bought my phone seven years ago
and it only takes calls - no texting.
If you decide to use SMS, enjoy, but I won't see any of the traffic.
I hope to be there, but I have to work out some scheduling logistics.
:-/ I'm doing hourly contracting right now, and taking 8 hours
unpaid leave for Friday is rather expensive.
