The 9816 is a complete computer. It uses a 68000 CPU and is one of the HP
9000 /200 series. Most of the peripherals including the drives connect via
the HP-IB. The 9816 has four expansion slots. The 9121 is a dual disk
drive with dingle sided drives and can be used with the 9816. E-mail if
