In terms of DEC, I think the Diablo 31 worked well on the RK11-C, but there
might have been a trick to using it on the RK11-D.
I don't remember having any problems using DEC packs on the Diablo drive.
Actually, I have a Diablo 31 and a RK11-C backplane I don't think I really
need.

Any 2315 compatible pack will work. 12 sector RK05 packs will be the most
common.
I have NOS filters. Weird Stuff had dozens of NOS maintenance kits 20
years ago
I think I bought at least a dozen kits then. I'll open one up and see what
state
of the foam is.
I would think with all the media recovery that Philipp Hachtmann has been
doing that
he should have a couple of packs that he could spare.
In the unlikely case that you're trying to restore an Alto, I've not had
much success
using old RK05 packs on them. Haven't tried bulk-erasing a platter yet to
see if that
would help.
Come to think of it, there IS a problem using RK packs in a Diablo 31,
SOMETIMES
they wont't spin up! I need to look at that, since it makes no sense.
