Thanks. I looked at Python but it's too weird for me for some reason. Having to use
tabs as part of the syntax!?
TCL runs everywhere I need at the moment. Haven't settled on it, still playing around.
Seems very nice for a scripting language.

If you think TCL is a good fit, look at Python too. I moved from TCL to Python a while
back. It has the advantage that Python has been ported to lots of environments.
